Welcome to Cambridge African Network.
”Black History Month 2020”

THIS YEAR OUR THEME IS ”TOGETHER”

Black History Month is way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. It is celebrated in October in the United Kingdom, Ireland.

Black History Month always provides an opportunity to recognize the outstanding contributions people of African and Caribbean descent have made in the UK.

There are several events around the country which includes history, culture, arts, heritage, news and ideas from the community.

The colours of the flag are representative, as the Red is for the Blood, the Black is for the People and the Green is for the natural wealth of the Motherland, Africa.

Cambridge African Network this year, due to the pandemic as with other events, we cannot have our regular physical social event.
We are having our celebration online, gathering and sharing arts, culture, history, talks, lectures, articles, films and exhibitions
